year 6 records

Last week the year 6's in the senior syndicate of N.P.S tried to break the school records for high jump, long Jump,discus and the longest softball throw. The closest to breaking a record was Taine from room 5. He was 2 cm away from breaking the record in high jump. The record was 1m 27 cm. Son was to breaking the record. He got a 1 m 20 cm

clubs

All of the middle and senior classes at NPS have a big interchange each Friday after lunch.
All of the students go to their club.our clubs are for children to have a fun afternoon in a different teachers class.

Some of our clubs are cooking and drama.

Athletics day

Yesterday Nayland Primary School had their athletics day.The events include gutter board ,high jump ,long jump ,discus ,shot put and our school event the vortex.After lunch we did the 100 metre sprints.

The day was filled with excitement and fun.

Our skype chat with Pennsylvania

Today we skyped with Pennsylvania about facts from our country and their state we learnt about that they are 3 hours from the Atlantic Ocean and they are nearly in Autumn and they were very interested in our hungi

Peace Banner

In week two we painted a Peace banner which is about peace in the world and representing New Zealand. Also it is going to be put around the Beehive/Where the Government argues are held in Wellington.

For six weeks our class has been talking with other schools around the world. Rock our world is about making a song about peace with a animationish animation to go with it. Our first week was sounds from our school the second week was banner and this week percussion.
